Masterclass: Feel Good Flow & Yin
In this 60-minute class, you will be guided through a series of feel-good flowing postures that connect breath and movement for the first 40 minutes of class, followed by 20 minutes of longer-held Yin poses. Flow (vinyasa) ties sun salutes, various asanas, and pranayama (breathwork) to build heat, move energy, and increase awareness in the mind, body, and spirit. During the Yin portion of class, you will be guided through gentle movements and hold longer poses that will help relax the body and calm the central nervous system. The healing effects of incorporating Yin can include increased range of motion, strength, elasticity and hydration of tissues, release toxins and help deeply relax the mind and body. A nice complement to any yoga practice and athletic endeavors.
